Blockchain eliminates the need for a central authority by distributing the verification process across a network of computers, known as nodes.

Standards and frameworks must be created that ensure seamless integration of blockchain-based systems and educational institutions have to educate learners and employers about the advantages of blockchain-based credentials to help promote wider acceptance and recognition across the job market.
