NCFE and Collab Group announce new strategic partnership

David Gallagher, Chief Executive at NCFE

Collab Group (@collabgrp) is pleased to announce the formation of a new strategic partnership with the educational charity @NCFE.

The partnership will see NCFE become the sponsor of the Collab Group Leadership programme and underscores the commitment that both NCFE and Collab Group have to the development of high-quality leadership across the further education sector.

Last year, Collab Group successfully piloted a new programme for aspiring further education leaders. This programme has been established for college leaders who have the potential to become a CEO or Principal.

In 2021, the programme will be rolled out to more participants and we are delighted that NCFE has come on board as the exclusive programme sponsor. As part of this partnership, NCFE will play an active role in developing programme content to ensure it meets the complex and varied needs of aspiring further education Principals and CEOs.

NCFE has considerable expertise to help us shape a programme that will add value to programme participants. We are delighted to announce this new alliance and we greatly look forward to the opportunities to work closely together going forward.

“I am delighted that we have formed a new strategic partnership with NCFE. Our college leaders have identified succession planning as a key priority for their institutions and the wider further education sector. This is why we are pleased to form a new strategic partnership with NCFE to sponsor the Collab Group Leadership Programme. Both Collab Group and NCFE are deeply committed to supporting talent development in the further education sector. NCFE’s involvement will strengthen the experience and relevance of programme and we are delighted to work with David and the rest of the NCFE team to take this opportunity forward.”

“This Leadership Programme and the benefits it will bring to the sector couldn’t have come at a more critical time, and for that reason alone, NCFE is very proud to be involved and to support it. With complex changes happening at an increasing speed across the FE world, it’s essential that the college leaders of the future are equipped with the appropriate skills to face these challenges and to take the learning gained on the programme back into their roles. NCFE’s core purpose is to promote and advance learning, and we are delighted that on this occasion it extends to the talent development of the future of FE. I’m looking forward to seeing the outcomes of this inaugural programme, which will not only help the individual participants, but in turn their college, the collective FE sector and importantly, the learners at the heart of it”
