Stirling Management School and Budapest Business School to partner on a new ‘dual degree’

The University of Stirling Management School (@StirUni) has partnered with the prestigious Budapest Business School (BBS) to offer students the chance to study in Scotland and Hungary and graduate with two degrees.

From January 2023, students who complete all the necessary at one institution can then transfer to the other, and graduate with an MSc International Business from Stirling and an MSc International Economy and Business from BBS.

This allows students to complete the two degrees in less time and experience different styles of business teaching, widening their academic focus, as well as life in Stirling and in Budapest, pandemic permitting.

The first BBS student is expected to arrive soon at Stirling, spending the spring semester at SMS.

Lecturers can teach across the two institutions, boosting teaching and research collaboration, with SMS faculty members having already delivered online lectures during spring and autumn project weeks at BBS.

Associate Dean of Global Engagement and Recruitment at the University of Stirling Management School (SMS), Professor Robert Webb, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for students to study at two institutions and increase their future career prospects, while expanding their networks.
