A Brighter Future with University Campus Barnsley

University Campus Barnsley (UCB) welcomes prospective students to its next Open Day on Thursday 18 October 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

Those interested in studying at UCB will have the opportunity to talk to tutors, get information on student finance, find out about student life and learn about the full and part-time study available at the event.

Based in the heart of Barnsley at its well-equipped town centre campus, UCB provides students with the skills and knowledge required to progress in their chosen careers. Course fees start at just £5,995 per year for full-time Higher National Certificates and Diplomas (HNC/Ds), foundation degrees, degrees and Higher Apprenticeships.

A wide variety of full and part-time courses are available in Animal Management, Art and Design, Business, Construction, Early Years, Education and Training, Engineering, Health and Social Care, Media, Music and Performing Arts, Public Services, Sport and Travel and Tourism. Some courses only require a few hours study per week at the campus, the rest can be done at home.

There will also be the opportunity to meet the Director of Quality for HE, Andrea Clarke, who has a wealth of experience in Higher Education. Andrea said: “We are passionate about education, opening the doors to those people who may never have considered a higher level course and working with them to reach their full potential. I’m looking forward to welcoming every prospective students to our Open Day on Thursday 18 October.”
