Student of the Year Awards

The best catering students from Highbury, Fareham, South Downs and Chichester Colleges went head to head in the Chef of the Year Competition held at Fareham College.

Each College selected their most talented Level 2 Catering student to take part in the competition, which was judged by a panel of six judges, including Mark Hill, who was head chef at the House of Commons.

The overall winner was Emily Hurry (18) from Highbury College, who cooked a fantastic three-course meal. Emily won a cup for the College, and received a certificate and catering equipment as a prize. She also won the chance to give an hour-long presentation at the Stansted Food Festival in September, where she will cook live on stage in front of an audience.

I hope this is of inetrest
