From education to employment

The Henley College student, Hazel Drury, showcases musical talents

Current student, Hazel Drury, is studying A levels in Law, Maths, Psychology and the EPQ. She produced this song as part of her EPQ, but has loved music from a young age.

Hazel said- “I chose The Henley College because of the wide range of A Levels available and the option to complete an EPQ. I did my EPQ on a music composition (Con-man in a love song), this allowed me to continue with my studies whilst also being able to gain a qualification from doing something I really enjoy, writing music!”

Hazel has been writing and creating music from a very young age. “In 2016 I got through to the blind auditions for The Voice Kids. Since then I’ve put my main focus into writing and performing original songs. ‘Con- man in a love song’ is the first song I’ve had professionally recorded in a studio. My dream is to have a career in the music industry, to try and achieve this I’m promoting my music via my YouTube channel ‘HazelLouise’, being at college allows me to pursue my ambitions in music whilst also focusing on my A Levels.”
