ULaw offers free masters courses to business students
The University of Law pioneers a new model for business education with the offer of a free masters degree
The University of Law (ULaw) Business School has become the first and only UK University to provide free masters courses, helping students to become specialists in their desired career and to reach their full potential.
The exclusive offer will be available to undergraduate students currently studying at ULaw Business School who successfully complete a three or four year degree and immediately go on to complete a masters at the University’s Business School. Additionally, those who enrol for undergraduate degrees at the institution in 2019 and 2020 will also be able to take advantage of the offer, should they apply for a masters and meet the course’s entry requirements.
Students could save up to £13,500 from this offer and ULaw hopes this will help with inclusiveness and diversity allowing participants regardless of their backgrounds to get the education they need to succeed. Students will soon be able to switch ULaw campuses and take their courses in different cities across the UK if they wish to.
This free Masters programme will increase access to business specialisms for students helping them to stand out in the employment market, earn higher salaries throughout the lifetime of their career and develop the skills needed to become top entrepreneurs.
John Watkins, Director of Employability at ULaw, said:
“Career planning has become increasingly important. A masters course allows students to approach their careers with real certainty and address some of the complexities.
“Employers value the academic rigour obtained from a masters course as well as the other disciplines and professional skills.”
Dr Andres Perez, National Director of Business Programmes at ULaw Business School, said:
“With the recent research conducted by the BBC** showing postgraduates typically earn £9,000 more than those without this level of education, we’re thrilled to be able to call ourselves the first and only university in the UK to offer a free masters course to our current and future undergraduate students.
“We are pioneering a new model of business education to help our students develop their knowledge of business specialisms and go further in their careers including starting their own businesses and becoming the entrepreneurs of the future. We use practical methodology, based on applied workshops and active discussions.”
Professor Andrea Nollent, Vice Chancellor and CEO at The University of Law, said:
“At ULaw Business School we’re passionate about helping our students reach their full career potential and providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to get there. We’re excited to see where our students go next after taking advantage of this opportunity to widen their prospects.”
