Continued Partnership Brings Benefits To Student Employment Prospects

Fife College secured career planning services for students recently with the renewal and joint signing of an agreement between the College and Careers Scotland.

Career Planning Manager for Careers Scotland, Gordon MacDougall visited the College to demonstrate support and sign the special agreement with College Principal Joyce Johnston. MacDougall said Careers Scotland professional advisers are supporting the college’s students in a wide range of areas to get their careers off to the best possible start. “Careers Scotland can help to develop career plans, work with students to improve their employability skills and provide advice on job, learning and training opportunities,” he said.

Principal Johnston said the agreement would strengthen existing links with Careers Scotland and would make careers advice and the wide range of other services they offer more accessible to students. “We are committed to ensuring that our students are given the best possible help and support when it comes to making decisions about their careers, future studies or employment,” she said.
