The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) announced the appointment of Richard Healey as its new Finance Director. Healey will lead the Finance division and will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of financial processes and policies throughout the LSC.

"I am delighted to be appointed as the Director of Finance for the LSC. Building on the work done in the last four years I intend to continue both improving systems and delivering the finance services that our customers request," said Healey Last year, the LSC's budget was £8.8 billion of which £4.8 billion was spent on young people and £2.9 billion on adults.
