From education to employment

Sue Husband appointed SFA Apprenticeship head

Former NAS head David Way

The Skills Funding Agency has appointed Sue Husband, education manager at fast food chain McDonald’s, as director of Apprenticeships and delivery service.

Ms Husband will join the SFA later this year to replace David Way, who stepped down in August after integrating it with the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS).

Mr Way led  NAS for more than five years, helping Apprenticeships become increasingly available at levels up to the equivalent of a Masters degree and seeing more than half a million starts a year.
