Effective Policies, Successful Schools: Launch of latest OECD PISA report

On Tuesday 29th September, @EduPolicyInst will be hosting the launch of the latest @OECD PISA 2018 Volume V report, “Effective Policies, Successful Schools”, which analyses schools and school systems and their relationship with education outcomes.

The report covers school governance, selecting and grouping students, and the human, financial, educational and time resources allocated to teaching and learning.

The main findings from the report will be presented by Andreas Schleicher (Director for Education and Skills at the OECD) from 10.00 BST.

This will then be followed by an international panel discussion, featuring Charlie Stripp (Chief Executive of Mathematics in Education and Industry); Prof. Rose Luckin (Professor of Learner Centred Design at the UCL Institute of Education); Jon Schnur (CEO, America Achieves and former Senior Adviser to the U.S Education Secretary); Hilary Spencer (CEO of Ambition Institute); and Dan Sandhu (CEO of Sparx).

The panel will be chaired by EPI Executive Director, Natalie Perera.
