Brodies appointed to legal panel for London Universities Purchasing Consortium

UK and leading Scottish law firm, @BrodiesLLP has been appointed to the London Universities Purchasing Consortium’s (@LUPConsortium) legal services framework agreement, to provide legal support to consortia members across England and Wales.

17 law firms were appointed across four lots, with Brodies being one of two firms to secure appointment to three of the lots:

  1. Commercial services
  2. Dispute resolution and
  3. Human resources.

The LUPC supports consortia members in the procurement of goods and services, with its membership extending to universities and colleges, as well as museums, libraries, research institutes, and organisations operating in science and the arts. 

The appointments are on an initial three-year basis, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months.

Browne Jacobson appointed to prestigious London Universities Purchasing Consortium legal panel

24th Jun 2021: Browne Jacobson has been appointed to the London Universities Purchasing Consortium’s (LUPC) national legal services framework agreement.

Browne Jacobson was one of only two firms amongst the 17 firms appointed this year to provide legal support across three specialist areas:

  1. Commercial services
  2. Dispute resolution and
  3. Human resources

The appointment will run for an initial three year period, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

The LUPC is a not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to achieve value for money in the procurement of goods and services for its members which include universities, colleges, research organisations, galleries, libraries, arts and museums in England and Wales.

As part of the appointment Browne Jacobson will also be able to provide legal services to members of :

  • North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC),
  • North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC),
  • Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC), and
  • Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW).
