The Collab Group (@collabgrp) is delighted to announce a new partnership with BAM UK operating companies, BAM Nuttall, BAM Construct and BAM FM to deliver apprenticeships across England. BAM is a renowned construction and civil engineering company and one of Europe’s largest contractors.

Collab Group colleges will provide a holistic apprenticeship and training service that will target both new entrants into the workforce and existing staff. BAM is committed to developing apprenticeship progression routes to fill technical roles including civil engineers, quantity surveyors and building services engineers. Alongside this, BAM is looking to commission a range of trade and non-technical apprenticeships, including business administration, IT specialists, data analysts and project managers. Collab Group colleges will act as crucial delivery partners to deliver these apprenticeships across England.

The partnerships will enable BAM to access high-quality apprenticeship training, a consistent accreditation process and technical and specialist expertise across the Collab Group college network.

Collab Group will work closely with BAM as a key education partner. Collab Group colleges are expert at delivering high-quality training and apprenticeships that help employers access new talent and fill skills gaps. This partnership will leverage Collab Group’s unique national delivery network to provide apprenticeship programmes that are flexible and responsive to BAM’s long-term skills needs.

We look forward to working in collaboration to create new and exciting opportunities for apprentices to gain new skills and enhance their career prospects.

Paul Skerry, BAM’s UK Early Careers & Professional Development Manager said:

‘Working with Collab Group will provide a consistent approach for delivering apprenticeships at a regional level across our national business. This helps our local teams deliver a consistent product in an efficient way. The Collab Group reporting system is impressive and will enable us to make both global and local interventions to support continued delivery of a high quality product.’

Ash Austin, Commercial Director at Collab Group, said:

We are delighted to have established this partnership with BAM. They are enthusiastic about securing the next generation of highly skilled talent to meet their business needs both now and in the future. The work of organisations like BAM will be crucial to help “build, back, better”, making this partnership timelier than ever.”
