Clarendon Sixth Form College celebrate gifted and talented students

Clarendon Sixth Form College celebrate eight of their gifted and talented students by accepting them onto the college’s 2019 Futures scholarship programme.

The programme aims to support the college’s most gifted and talented students in accessing some of the most competitive degree courses and careers in four aspirational and growth sectors: STEM, humanities, digital and creative.

The scholars attended a special ceremony where they were presented with their scholarship by Deputy Principal, Teresa Farran, whilst friends and family watched on.

Each of the eight students will receive a total of £750 over the course of their studies, to support them in acquiring resources needed to help them move forward in achieving their professional goals for the future.

Jennie Arnold, Head of Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “We want to celebrate the drive, focus and determination of our talented students, and our Futures scholarship programme helps us do that by nurturing these students, as we help them understand the steps needed to achieve their career and gain places on competitive degree courses, at top universities.”

Congratulations to:

Lewis Kelsall, Abbie-Jane Spicer, Megan Bennett, Benjamin Whitmore, Keaton Hurley-Williams, Georgia Jones, Millie-Bobby Edwards and Heather Ward.
