Maximising Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Energy Tour

On 4th April 2018, Big Youth Group’s sister first social arm, Big Youth Project, will continue to reinforce its commitment to bettering the workplace odds for young people in the UK as it hosts an engaging and innovative event: How to Start and Grow as a Digital Entrepreneur or professional (powered by Accenture and Sage) at Mintel House, in the heart of the City of London.

The free-to-attend event will be hosted by Youth Influencer Jack Parsons, and includes a keynote speech from Ben Towers, the 19-year-old dubbed ‘one of the most influential entrepreneurs on the planet’. Ben began his business career aged eleven and has since then carried out a £multi-million merger and worked with some of the world’s most exciting brands.

The vintage VW ‘Startup Van’ will also make an appearance, with its crew poised to interview Towers plus experts from event sponsors Accenture and Sage in the vehicle’s custom-built back seat studio.

Parsons said of the event “, this will be the first of many opportunities for young people to network with their peers and engage with some truly inspiring mentors. Big Youth Project wants those who attend to come away with a heightened knowledge of how to start a business, brand themselves professionally, follow their dreams and build their digital skills via Accenture’s online digital skills courses. Big Youth Group would like to thank Accenture and Sage, who recognised the potential of this event early on and brought their support to help us bring it to life.”

The event will run from 18.30 til 21.30hrs and entry is free with prior registration. Attendees will be asked to use the hashtag #GenerationNow with the handles @BigYouthGroup and @BigYouthProject throughout the evening. The event is part of the bigger tour which is called It’s all about MEEE Tour – Maximising Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Energy in young people to improve their odds to help start a business or get a job.
