New College Stamford Student Impresses at Peterborough United Football Ground

Skills for Work and Living student from New College Stamford, Benjamin Parrish has been busy at Peterborough United Football Club undertaking a 3 week long work experience placement as part of the Grounds Team.

Starting his placement as a shy 23 year old that lacked in confidence around others, Ben ended his 3 weeks with the ability to believe in himself, making work related decisions and gained confidence to ask questions when needed.

Rob Bradshaw of Peterborough United Football Ground said,

“I am very proud of what Benjamin has achieved over the past 3 weeks, this is down to the dedication and enthusiasm shown within himself which has led to excellent results in his ability.”

“We have a confident bright young candidate that will grow stronger and stronger over the coming years.”

Skills for Work and Living courses at New College Stamford allow students to gain real experience and transferable work skills to make them stand out on placements, just like Sam did with Peterborough United.

Rob said,

“It’s been an honor and pleasure working with Stamford College and Benjamin and I truly hope we can keep the connection and work experience placements going over the coming months.”
