Training and developing staff in children’s homes
DfE today (15 Mar) released phase 3 of their research into the qualifications, skills and training required to meet the needs of young people living in children’s homes.
This phase of the research explores the implementation and effects of the Children’s Homes Regulations and quality standards on management, staff operations and children.
It explores their views on qualifications, pay and routes in or out of the residential care sector.
