As part of Babington Group’s strategic growth plans, the Directors of Babington Group have made a new appointment of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and are delighted to announce Emma Yorke who has joined the business in fulfilling this position.
As COO, Emma will develop key delivery areas of the business to perform effectively, delivering high quality outcomes for learners and employers. She’ll contribute to the growth of the business to ensure sustainability and strength in the marketplace, positioning Babington Group as the partner of choice for employers, key funding agencies and policy influencers.
As part of this, Emma will develop Babington Group’s people to be the best they can, making sure everyone is enthusiastic about bringing to life the mission, vision and values. Emma brings with her a wealth of experience in training and education, having worked at a senior level across the sector for 24 years. As well as holding senior positions within Shaw Trust and Newcastle College Group, Emma has been responsible for the development of HCUK Training, the Skills Business Division of the Hull College Group. Here, she grew overall income from £6 million to £16 million in three years, as well as taking an initial OFSTED rating of Inadequate in 2014 to Good in 2016.
