Active IQ strengthens position as market leading awarding organisation

Active IQ strengthens its position as the market leading awarding organisation for qualifications within the fitness sector, now holding 69% market share, up 5% from 2015.  For Level 3 Personal Trainer qualifications, Active IQ now holds a 74% market share, up 10% year on year and has moved from number five to number four in the league table for awarding organisations* according to the latest Ofqual report released in July.  

Jenny Patrickson, Managing Director, said: “The findings are encouraging and our consolidation of market growth has clearly shown Active IQ to be the awarding organisation of choice for our sector.  Over the last 12 months we have continued to engage extensively with the sector and strengthened relationships with training providers and key stakeholders as well as a wide range of employers and operators so our qualifications remain highly valued and fit for purpose.  Our efforts and alignment are mirrored in our move up the rankings.”
