#EdTech company CognAssist highly commended in annual Dynamites Awards

Education Technology company CognAssist is pleased to announce that it has been highly commended in the Dynamite Awards 2018, within the category ‘Innovator of the Year’.

The organisers describe the award as:

‘For a person, team or organisation that has developed a software application or service which will have enormous potential to change the way we live, work or play – from a North East base but with impact that will be felt far and wide.’

There were over 450 attendees at the awards ceremony on the 18th October representing over 40 shortlisted North East based businesses, including: Accenture, Sage, HMRC, DWP Digital, Hedgehog Lab and Bede Gaming; CognAssist was one of only 3 highly commended companies across the 11 award categories.

For the first time, this years’ awards were judged by an all-female panel, chaired by Deni Chambers from Newcastle College, who was joined by Siobhan Fenton of Teesside University and Alison Shaw, of Newcastle University Business School amongst others.

CognAssist’s Chief Commercial Officer, Claire Carr, said: ‘We are delighted to have been highly commended in this category and are grateful to the judges for their commendation. The CognAssist team thrives on innovation and we are constantly pushing boundaries so that we can serve our growing number of clients better.’
