From education to employment

Innovative Alliance have been awarded place on GMCA FPS to deliver their fully funded courses

Adult Education Training Provider, Innovative Alliance (@IATraining_Liv), has been awarded a place on Greater Manchester Combined Authorities (@greatermcr) Flexible Procurement System (FPS), which will see the training provider support the City Region’s integrated labour market eco-system ambitions.

GMCA’s FPS aims to support the development and productivity of Greater Manchester’s economy. With individuals and employers at the heart of the system, it seeks to respond to the needs of residents, communities, and businesses in the area. As part of the FPS, IA will work in partnership with an abundance of other organisations to deliver a high-quality adult skills provision, for the people of Greater Manchester.

Working across England, IA’s team of specialists supports learners and employers. Through their fully integrated service, they are equipping individuals aged 19+ with the skills and knowledge required to get back into work, whilst helping bridge skills gaps for employers. Despite a global pandemic, in the last year, IA has helped change the lives of learners for the better and has provided effective workforce solutions through its employer programmes.

MD at Innovative Alliance, Ian Green is delighted IA can help support people with accessing skills training and employment opportunities. He said;

‘’We are looking forward to working with GMCA as part of their Flexible Procurement System, along with the other organisations involved. We are passionately committed to supporting people with skills training, with the aim of getting them back into work. Through this partnership, we can help to positively impact those in the community and work towards the recovery of the local economy.

‘’We are constantly seeking new ways to extend our reach and help even more people get back into work. Through our combined efforts with GMCA, we hope to support the development of a skilled and robust workforce in the City Region.’’

Over the past few years, IA has supported hundreds of individuals to secure positive destinations at the end of their training. Their continued commitment to developing new partnerships with the likes of GMCA will go a long way in boosting the number of people they can support, helping individuals to achieve their potential and secure a brighter future.
