Baroness Garden: the future skills strategy

FE News catches up with Baroness Sue Garden at the AELP national conference to talk about the future skills strategy.

Sue stepped in for Skills Minister Matthew Hancock at the AELP annual conference, as he went on paternity leave with baby number three.

She explains how the Skills Minister has put a team together to advise him on developing a future digital and technology-related skills strategy to match the future developments and needs.

According to Sue, young people are particularly enthusiastic about the latest technology, which provides an excellent opportunity to provide long term education and sustainable work.
