National Education Group Win EdTech Breakthrough Award 2021
The National Education Group (NEG) are proud to announce they have won ‘Overall Learning Management System (LMS) Solution Provider of the Year’ at the prestigious EdTech Breakthrough Awards 2021.
The award recognises the phenomenal growth NEG has experienced over the last 12 months, transforming them into one of the UK’s leading online training providers for schools.
They now deliver remote, expert-led CPD to over 300,000 educators in more than 30,000 schools worldwide through their three core brands; National Online Safety, The National College and Essential CPD.
Neil Gamewell, National Education Group CEO, said:
“It’s always great to win an award but to be recognised by the EdTech Breakthrough Awards programme is a real honour.
In the last 12 months we have invested heavily across the company, strengthening our CPD offering, bolstering our infrastructure and expanding into overseas markets.
Underpinning all of this has been the development of our bespoke learning platform which directly addresses schools’ needs. Everything we do is user-led and we now have a learning management system that offers schools access to high-quality training and CPD but also the ability to take full control of planning, rolling out, tracking, reporting and directing their whole-school CPD strategy in one safe, online space.
If you add the launch of our world-leading mobile apps, we have gone a long way to creating a learning environment that is convenient, fluid, accessible and sustainable. We offer something which is unique and innovative in what is a very crowded market.
It’s a fantastic achievement to win this award and recognises just how much work the whole team have put in over the year in what have been truly unprecedented times.”
James Johnson, managing director of EdTech Breakthrough said:
“We chose National Education Group because they put user experience at the heart of everything they do. Users can instantly access the remote video CPD anywhere, anytime, progressing at their own pace inside or outside school hours and the world-leading mobile apps also make it easy to fit training around a busy workload or home life.
Their focus on research and development has resulted in a custom-built platform now likened more to Netflix and Spotify, rather than what you’d expect from a traditional e-learning platform. Congratulations on being the winner of our ‘Overall LMS Solution Provider of the Year’ award.”
The mission of the EdTech Breakthrough Awards is to honour excellence and recognise the innovation, hard work and success in a range of educational technology categories, including Student Engagement, School Administration, Adaptive Learning, STEM Education, e-Learning, Career Preparation and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 2,000 nominations from over 17 different countries throughout the world.
