@QubeLearning – Top 20 training provider opens innovative training centre to encourage jobs and education in Bolton

Leading national training provider, Qube Learning, has opened an educational hub in the heart of Bolton, to help improve employment and training rates in the city.

The Kick Start Centre is the second learning venue to be launched in the UK by Qube Learning and is set to make it easier for the people of Bolton to access further education services. The centre is open to anyone looking for training to help gain employment, or to train in new skills to aid progression within their existing job role.

Several of the city’s businesses work with Qube Learning to provide opportunities for individuals within the Childcare, Retail and Business service sectors, encouraging people to look at alternative education routes to university. Launching in the current climate, the Kick Start Centre will initially function as an online platform to allow Students to train through the pandemic, as many work from home in a remote format, until face-to-face visits are allowed.

Paul Taylor, Head of Pre-Employment at Qube Learning, said: “Bolton is a growing location of opportunities for young and mature people from all walks of life, and we are excited to be part of that movement. There is a growing demand from local companies to recruit and train new members of staff, as we work to place many people in Apprentice and Trainee roles in the city giving them stability and financial security.

Qube Learning’s Kick Start Centre is a stepping stone in assisting those who wish to work in a vocational capacity. At present, the team are working online with Students to help them progress positively. We do, however, look forward to opening our doors for face-to-face appointments when the government permits. Bolton has welcomed us in, and we are remaining optimistic about what the future holds for the city and its occupants.”

The Bolton Kick Start Centre consists of a large reception area, two meeting rooms downstairs and three interview spaces upstairs, and comes equipped with a kitchen area and disabled access. There will be a drop-in basis for those over the age of 16, anytime without needing an appointment.

Qube Learning is proud to be an OFSTED grade 2 (Good) training provider that works with hundreds of Employers across the country to deliver a range of training and qualifications to a multitude of Students.
