Students plan their future at the ‘I Can’ event

Local youngsters explore their options after Year 11 at Eastbourne’s ‘I Can’ event, featuring Sussex Downs College and The Prince’s Trust

Team leaders from The Prince’s Trust Team re-engagement programme, offered through Sussex Downs College, gave Further Education and Employment advice to 14- 16-year-olds at the ‘I Can’ event this week (Monday 30th January). The event took place at the Kings Centre on Edison Road, Eastbourne, and was open to students seeking positive engagement beyond Year 11.

Other departments represented from the College included Music Production, Floristry and Beauty Therapy. Students could browse the information stands and figure out their next steps after Secondary School.
