What is Neuroinclusion?
This is a concept that emphasizes the creation of environments and practices embracing and accommodating neurological diversity. It centers around fostering inclusive spaces where individuals with diverse neurological characteristics, including those who are neurodivergent, feel valued, supported, and fully included.
The goal is to recognize and celebrate the unique strengths and perspectives that individuals with different neurological profiles bring to various settings, such as workplaces, schools, and communities.
Why is Neuroinclusion Important?
Neuroinclusion is important for several reasons:
Firstly, it acknowledges the inherent diversity in neurological characteristics, promoting a more inclusive and accepting society.
Secondly, it recognizes that individuals with neurodivergent conditions, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others, possess unique strengths and talents that can significantly contribute to various fields.
