Edge is an independent education foundation, dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational learning. Edge supports UK Skills’ aim of raising skills levels, and passionately believes high profile events such as WorldSkills can help narrow the nation’s skills gap.
Edge was instrumental in winning London’s bid to host the 2011 competition, beating Sweden, France and Australia. Edge also sponsors UK squads, team and alumni at UK selection competitions and at WorldSkills in Calgary 2009 and London 2011.
