Simon Waugh, National Apprenticeship Service speaking to FE News at The Association of Learning Providers Forum for Employment & Skills at East Midlands Conference Centre on 14th May 2009. In February 2009 Simon was appointed to the newly formed National Apprenticeship Service, reporting directly to the Secretary of State for Children, Scholls and Families and the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills. Simon is also a non-executive Director of CMC Markets, Deputy Chairman of SPARKS children’s charity, a trustee and Board Director of Help the Aged and is a life fellow of both the Marketing Society and the Institute of Direct Marketing.
