Barnsley College will receive £2.2million additional funding

Barnsley College is pleased to announce that it will receive £2.2million to build a new Digital Innovation Hub from the Department of Education.

The College is one of 11 providers to receive the funding which will be used to build new classrooms or refurbish buildings before the new T Level qualifications are introduced in September 2020.

Yiannis Koursis, Principal and Chief Executive of Barnsley College, said: “We are elated to have been awarded this additional funding so we can prepare our buildings and ensure our students continue to learn in state-of-the-art facilities when they join the College in September 2020.”
