How educators can use ICT to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030

Proud to support UNESCO IITE Week 2019

As a partner of UNESCO IITE, Nisai is very proud to support UNESCO IITE Week 2019!

On 25-29 November 2019, UNESCO IITE Week 2019 will be held in Saint Petersburg. The event will be held within the XIV International Festival “Wind of Change” for teachers and students, organised by Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI) in cooperation with the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE), and other international and Russian organisations.

Dhruv Patel, CEO of Nisai Group, commented: “We are honoured to support UNESCO IITE Week 2019 and share our insight on how educators can use ICT to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. Our Head of Online Learning, Corrina Cooke and myself are excited to be speaking during the event week!”

Nisai’s CEO and Head of Online Learning will be speaking on the following days and times:

  • Monday 25th November, 2pm: A workshop focused on Inclusion by Corrina Cooke
  • Monday 25th November, 3.50pm: A workshop focused on the Sustainable Development Goals in Education by Corrina Cooke
  • Tuesday 26th November, 2pm: A discussion around the topic of “Transforming teaching and learning at schools for achieving SGD4: turning theory into practice with ICT” by Dhruv Patel
  • Wednesday 27th November, 11.20am: A workshop focused on Teaching using technology by Corrina Cooke

The event programme includes lectures, workshops, seminars and competitions on such topics as the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 3D modelling and 3D visualisation technologies for education, collaboration through online (synchronised) video technologies and ICT applications to preserve the world heritage for future generations. Teams of school students from different countries will take part in the UNESCO IITE Week 2019.
