EDI appoints Ioan Morgan as FE strategy advisor
Awarding body EDI has announced the appointment of Ioan Morgan, the former principal of Warwickshire College, as Further Education Strategy Advisor.
Mr Morgan, who was also the first chairman of the 157 Group, which represents 28 of the largest FE colleges in England, has previously led three colleges and three college mergers.
EDI Chief Executive Nigel Snook said: “We are delighted that Ioan Morgan has joined EDI. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise which will be central to developing our strategy to meet the particular needs of further education colleges.
“This is particularly important at a time when changes in government policy and funding arrangements are driving demand for new and innovative approaches to the quality assurance of further education college programmes and the certification of learners.”
