From education to employment

An impressive A Level first at The Hart School #ALevelResults2019

The Hart School in Staffordshire is celebrating continued great performance at A Level – including an impressive first.

Student James Rumbold has become the first at the high school to clock up an inspirational 3 A*s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and is now off to study Astrophysics at university.

And, like last year, the Creative Education Trust school in Rugeley is also delighted to have achieved yet another set of great results across the board.

Notable successes including in Maths and Sociology

Highlights include pupils achieving an average grade of B for Maths, 100% of students achieving A*-C in Sociology, and other notable successes in Science, Art & Design and Music too.

Proud Head of Sixth Form Ben Brennan said: “We’re delighted with this year’s A Level results across the board and extremely proud of all our pupils who have all worked incredibly hard to reach their individual targets.”

Sixth Form is going from “strength to strength”

Principal Chris Keen said: “Our Sixth Form continues to go from strength to strength and these latest results are a testament to that.

“As well as strong teaching, another key to our success is that we always listen to the career needs and aspirations of each Sixth Form intake and, wherever we can, we adapt our offer to help them to achieve their goals when they leave us.

“We are happy and proud that students at The Hart School are able to get the best results from an incredibly broad and varied curriculum.”

The Hart School, which was rated good by Ofsted in March 2018, is still accepting applications for its Sixth Form in September.
