From education to employment

Skills for Productivity project in the Coast to Capital LEP area

Details

To ensure that delivery matches the changing requirements of industry in the Coast to Capital LEP area, with a particular focus on STEM, digital and basic skills, strong partnerships between education and skills providers and employers are required.

This call looks for proposals to support an increase in skills levels for those employed in the area to meet business needs and projects must deliver activity which directly contributes to the objectives of Priority Axis 2, Investment Priority 2.1.

A range of support should be delivered (examples given in the Call specification) and applicants are encouraged to design collaborative projects focused on individual beneficiary and local labour market need, the specific objectives of the investment priority and the required project outputs.

Applications to this call should cover the entire Coast to Capital area, although smaller applications covering part of the area will be considered. We are particularly keen to see delivery in rural West Sussex. Croydon and Lewes District are no longer part of Coast to Capital, therefore projects should not offer provision in these areas.
