GP practice challenges students to design their future

Graphic design students at Clarendon Sixth Form College are working on a live project for a brand new medical practice.

Ashton Medical Group (AMG), formed from three smaller GP practices, asked students to produce their new logo, branding and identity.

To research their designs, students visited an AMG practice to gather photographs and chat to staff members about representing the organisation through branding.

Practice managers and doctors at AMG will choose their favourite design after students have pitched their ideas to them. A prize will be awarded to the winning student.

Laszlo Gyongyosi, graphic design teacher at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said:

“The work the students have produced is phenomenal and I’m proud of what they’ve achieved. This is an opportunity that they should take with both hands and use to gain valuable experience. I can’t wait to see the winning designs used in such a big organisation.”
