Bernie Rutherford, Lecturer in Sport at NWRC said: “On behalf of everyone at the Department of Sport I would like to congratulate Emma on this tremendous achievement.

“Emma is fantastic Kickboxer a great ambassador for the world of Sport. The staff and her fellow students at NWRC wish her continued success.”

Emma who is in the final year of a Foundation Degree at NWRC, is currently completing the work placement requirement of her course, at the PE department of her previous school, St Cecilia’s College.
