.@S_ERC awarded VET Mobility Charter

SERC has been recognised for their international work after it was awarded the Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training (VET) Mobility Charter. And it is in good company as it joins an elite group of only 14 organisations in the UK who have achieved the prestigious award from the Erasmus+ UK National Agency.

The Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter is awarded to organisations with a proven track record of delivering multiple high-quality VET placements for learners and staff, who wish to develop their European Internationalization Strategy further.

SERC received official recognition of their status at a VET Charter Holders Assembly in London where SERCs International Development Manager Janice Cooked was presented with the certificate during a prestigious ceremony.

Claire Henderson, Head of quality excellence and development at SERC said “The assessors were very impressed with SERCs submission commenting that the ‘application demonstrated a clear strategic commitment to and experience of international collaboration.’

“The application process is very competitive and the UK National Agency (NA) is only able to accredit the highest scoring applications. The application went through a robust assessment process and it is testimony to the hard work of the international team that the application was successful. The Charter will assist us in our efforts to achieve greater internationalisation in VET through the Erasmus+ Programme.”
