The Flexible Growth and Skills Levy is a Labour Party policy to replace the Apprenticeship Levy.
The Labour Party announced the Skills and Growth Levy in September 2022 and then confirmed this as a Manifesto pledge for FE and Skills in their Labour Party Election manifesto on the 13th June 2024 to broaden the existing Apprenticeship Levy into a ‘Growth and Skills’ Levy, allowing Levy paying firms to use up to 50% of their levy contributions to fund training through routes other than apprenticeships. Eg to give organisations more flexibility to use their Levy funding pot for skills.
