New Trustee for stem4 charity that supports teenage #MentalHealth

New stem4 Trustee Franz Ranero

Following on from the latest stem4 Trustee Meeting, stem4 are pleased to announce that Franz Ranero has been elected as a Trustee with immediate effect.  Franz is a partner in a major international law firm, with twenty years experience in the international finance sector. 

As well as legal skills, he brings to stem4 extensive business development, strategy and management expertise.  He also has a passion for the cause.  Originally Australian, Franz is currently raising his young son and daughter with his wife in North London.

Dr Nihara Krause, Founder and CEO of stem4, welcomed Franz aboard and said:

“We are at a specific point of time of growth and moving forward when the skills and enthusiasm Franz brings to stem4 are very welcome. Our Trustees are of immense importance to the Charity with the wealth and depth of experience they can offer.  I would also like to thank Eddie Coombes who has just completed his tenure as a Trustee of stem4”.

stem4 is a Wimbledon based, award winning charity that supports teenage mental health through mental health promotion, provides evidence based mental health education, builds resilience, enhances motivation to change and signposts to early intervention. 

stem4 focuses on commonly occurring mental health issues in teenagers including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm and addiction. stem4 works with students, parents and teachers in secondary schools as well as health professionals including GPs and school nurses through their conferences programme and their digitally delivered workshops suitable for PHSE in schools and is included in the Royal College of GP toolkit.
