The 9 school-led Women Leading in Education regional networks help women into leadership by providing development opportunities and resources, and sharing practice.

What you can get

As a woman in education you can get:

  • support with career progression
  • leadership development
  • networking opportunities to share experiences and effective practice
  • support to overcome unconscious discrimination
  • development through coaching, mentoring and group discussions
  • access to workshops, resources and inspirational speakers

Who can join the network

The networks are for women teachers in all areas of the country, at all stages of their careers. There are no formal requirements to take part.

When it’s available

Events take place throughout the school year.

What it costs

Network membership and attendance at local events is often free, however some providers may charge a fee.
