Overview

We have awarded Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund (TLIF) contracts to 10 continuing professional development (CPD) providers.

These providers offers a variety of programmes to existing teachers, leaders and schools who meet the eligibility criteria.

CPD programmes aim to increase skills, confidence and knowledge in:

• leadership
• managing challenging pupil behaviour
• geography
• phonics
• science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
• career development

Enrolment is open, except where recruitment targets have been met. CPD programmes are available to teachers, leaders and schools who meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

These programmes are only available to teachers and leaders who work in an Ofsted rated grade 3 or grade 4 school which is within:

• one of the 12 opportunity areas
• one of the category 5 and 6 local authority districts(PDF, 110KB, 2 pages)
