Edinburgh Business School invites applications for Business Incubator

Heriot-Watt University Business School offers companies free space at Edinburgh campus

Start-ups and small businesses are invited to apply to join Business Incubator at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Successful entrepreneurs will be offered a free space in fully equipped offices and an opportunity to participate in a series of development workshops from July 2019.

This is the third intake for the scheme, which offers office space for up to a year, access to workshops and expert advice.

Opened last year by the Duke of York, the Incubator currently hosts 14 businesses, representing a variety of sectors, including sound and sports technology, marketing, fashion, construction and energy.

Laura Gallloway, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, said:

ā€œOur Incubator is part of the growing number of initiatives Heriot-Watt University puts in place to support the business community and the Business Incubator reflects our inclusive and multidisciplinary approach towards entrepreneurship education and business support.

ā€œWe invite application from entrepreneurs who want to come and build innovative businesses and we welcome any industry sector. We are proud to open this space to all and want to hear from businesses set up by our graduates and entrepreneurs new to the University.ā€

Entrepreneurs who want to join Edinburgh Business School Incubator should complete the application form by Friday 14 June, 5PM.
