How Hackney Community College is supporting the Olympics

Ian Ashman, principal of Hackney Community College, discusses how his college is supporting the Olympics.

The college is highly involved in the run up to the Olympic Games in London 2012, particularly with training 70,000 Olympic volunteers in the run up to the Games. It  also has a catering centre that was specifically built around the London 2012 event, training hundreds of people to support the catering side of the Olympics.  Ian goes onto explain that they are also training 8,000 people to take up security roles.
