SCL celebrate Significant Progress Ofsted result

Following their recent Ofsted Progress Monitoring Visit, SCL Education Group celebrate ‘Significant Progress’ result for their post-16 education provision; the highest accolade that can be awarded.

Delivering full-time sports education programmes to 16-19-year-olds, in partnership with over 70 football, cricket and rugby clubs, foundations and community trusts across the country, SCL Education are inspiring, engaging and educating more than 3,000 learners each year; and more recently through a blended approach of delivery.

In addition, SCL deliver apprenticeships and workforce development programmes, nationwide, through SCL Professional; the Group’s newest organisation, unlocking potential and empowering people to transform teams.

Following an in-depth review across both organisations which focused on the quality of delivery, whilst concentrating on the effectiveness of leadership and management and outcomes for learners, SCL were delighted to be awarded the grade, Significant Progress.

Brad Rushton, Group Managing Director at SCL Education Group, said:

“We’re extremely proud to be setting the standard within education as we continue to put the learner at the centre of everything we do and prioritise our learners’ success, both with SCL and beyond.”.

Feedback detailed that: “Leaders and managers are passionate about supporting learners and apprentices to become increasingly confident, reflective and competent in their chosen career.”.

This achievement positions SCL within a very small percentage of providers who have achieved Significant Progress, during what has been one of the most challenging periods in recent history; as they continue to have a positive impact on all learners and within the communities they serve.
