Students at The City Academy Hackney celebrate GCSE results

Pupils at The City Academy Hackney are celebrating their GCSE results today (22/08).

77% of the students at the Homerton Row school passed English GCSE and 71% passed maths. 23 students achieved at least one grade 9 and one student had a remarkable achievement of all eleven GCSEs at grade 9.

The City Academy Hackney is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a coeducational secondary school and sixth form. Since then the school has received two ‘Outstanding’ grades from Ofsted.

The City Academy Hackney is co-sponsored by the City of London Corporation and KPMG.
