FE News had a chat with AeLP chief executive Graham Hoyle about the Apprenticeship Summit. Graham explains how the meeting and announcements were very positive, with increased flexibilities and reduction in bureaucracy in Health and Safety around Apprenticeships.

He also points out that at the Apprenticeship Summit, Skills Minister John Hayes highlighted the wider foot-print of Apprenticeships to upskill the workforce, encompassing wider specialist skill areas, and being utilised by both young and older learners as a platform to upskill.
