Wordable from Playlingo shortlisted for the ELTons
Wordable, which is part-funded by Ufi, has been shortlisted for the prestigious ELTon awards. Run by the British Council, these awards recognise innovation in English language learning.
Learning, remembering and using vocabulary can be a dull part of learning a language. Wordable, a mobile vocabulary learning game, is designed to tackle this motivation problem in a fun quiz-style game where learners compete with friends to see who is the fastest to learn new English words. Ufi’s funding enables Wordable to teach the specialist vocational vocabulary needed for the workplace, including business, construction, retail and manufacturing.
