Penny Power on Apprenticeships and employers
Penny Power chats about the Voice of Apprenticeship conference in London, run by Apprenticeships 4 England.
Ms Power chaired the employer day at the conference and gives an overview on how Apprenticeships are seen by large businesses such, as PWC, Accenture, BT and Barclays, as well as SMEs.
She outlines the challenges of engaging with SMEs, and how the sector sometimes struggles to talk in the same language as business owners, blocking the development of relationships and trust between employers and training providers.
